- from Great Championship Wrestling/Global Championship Wrestling

It is official. Great Championship Wrestling has become a part of the Global Championship Wrestling family. The Board of Directors felt that it was in the best interest of the company and independent wrestling in general to make this association. There will be many changes in our show, but these will only prove to make a great product even better. We will still run on Thursdays at the GR8 SK8 Plex in Phenix City. If you liked Great Championship Wrestling you are going to love the new Global Championship Wrestling. We love each and every one of you and are so very excited to be able to bring you a wrestling event that will leave you breathless. Long Live GCW!!!!!
