- Recap from Clay Burton

Pre-cursor I may leave some stuff, even matches out. A 3 hr tailgate can do that.

Terry Batey (NWA ProSouth) opened things up for the crowd. I though he a had a good presence in there and did a nice job of getting the crowd really into it before the first match. Even let some of the crowd get some mic time. Interacted with fans the whole night. I also really like the raffle and prizes he let the fans participate in during intermission. Good job by the voice for the evening.

Match 1-NWA ProSouth Heavyweight Championship Ace Haven w/Amy Haven challenges Tyler Gage -
This was action packed from the onset. Tyler Gage walked to the ring with his ribs wrapped (apparently from the brutal casket match he had the night before). Ace went after him and over the top ropes straight to the concrete floor. A brawl ensued, and Ace got the better of it, setting Tyler up for 3, yes THREE, straight suplexes on the concrete floor. The whole crowd was in shock. They got back in the ring and Ace worked the ribs for a while. Tyler gained some steam and it was a back and forth, high-flying affair until the end, when Tyler RETAINED His title. This match set the bar extremely high for the rest of the evening. Major props to both men and Amy.

Match 2-4 Corner Dance off or something for the #1 Contender for the ACW Southern Championship -Big Clyde (Claude or Fraud) vs. Vandal vs Vega? (maybe wrong about this one) vs Kris Knox.

Knox was the last to enter the ring, and as always got the crowd pumped. He and Clay Burton both showed they like to workout with shake weights and pushups. The match ensued and Big Claude and Knox were on the outside. Vandal and Vega showed off their athleticism in the ring. Clyde was the first eliminate, followed by Vega. Vandal and Knox squared off for a few minutes with Knox getting the big victory. Good match again.

Match 3- Daniel Alexander vs Iceman Rod Storm-

Daniel immediately became a fan favorite for the heel section. Solid match with some back and forth but it seemed the younger combatant was in control a great deal of the time. Rod Storm got some lately momentum but Ace and Amy Haven came out to the ring. Both jumped on the apron but didn't interfere and Ace even had a seat in the heel section. Daniel took advantage of Iceman looking outside the ring and finished him with 1-2-3.

Match 4- Pandora vs Aiysha Sunshine-

Not much to this one. Pandora with Wicked Nemesis showed why she is a superstar and candidate for women's independent of the year. Domination.

Match 5- **Main Event* ACW Tag Team Anarchy Championship
Champions Damon Harrison and Joey Sartain vs Brian Blaze and Geter

Blaze and Geter out first. INTIMIDATING DUO! Geter may be the largest man in Alabama wrestling today. He's a monster. They tried to act like they hated the heel section too but Brian Blaze couldn't keep the smile off of his face.

Then the champs came out, to the best intro music in the biz of course, Damon Taz quickly was greeted by an excited Brooks Logan and myself before being totally faked out with high fives. But the dancing obviously continued.

The match started and it looked like the champs we're on easy street. With great team work they worked Blaze over for the first several minutes before he was finally able to find enough offense to make the take to the behemoth Geter. The challengers we're in control most of the way from here, despite a couple of hot tags and rallys from the champs. Taz got PINNED to lose the titles for his team. Immediately after, MOD (Knox, Wicked, and Pandora) entered the ring with chairs but quickly began to celebrate with the new champions. Then a beating like non other ensued on Damon Taz. It was HYSTERICAL and WELL DESERVED! Referee Terry Hudgins tried to stop it but was laid out. Doug Vincent came to help but was dropped and knocked out by a single shot from Blaze. Finally MOD left still laughing and celebrating. A great moment for ACW.

Big thanks to all at Carbon HEEL. Thank you Frost, Ingle, and Carter for all that you did for the Heel section and the event in full. Wicked and all of the talent mentioned did a wonderful job of providing great entertainment to fans of all ages. A+ SHOW!!!

The next ACW show is March 3rd in Carbon Hill, AL.
